
Cheshire cat stole

My first scarf of the year is going to be the Cheshire cat stole. It's a lovely, yet simple pattern and exactly what I was looking for when I was trying to find a lace pattern to use for my first experiments with Vuorelma's laceweight linen yarn.
The yarn is a nice, green colour, and even though it feels a little rough at first, after knitting with it, it seem to gain some softness. Also, ashing it seems to also make it a little softer. And of course linen naturally has a different feel to it than wool, for example. I've wanted to try the Euroflax linen yarns as well, but they aren't locally available - but maybe someday.
I actually started a week back, but I've came down with a flu so I haven't been able to knit it further from this. But I'll soon get back to it, it's lovely:)
