Wollmeise

Scarabäus, Ballerina, Ebenholz and Barist'O. They'd make a gorgeous yoked sweater together. And I think I also need a plain sweater in Ebenholz, it's the perfect dark, rich brown. Much better irl than in pictures. And Scarab&Ballerina are the perfect contrast colours next to it. And i can't even wear yoked sweaters, but I want to make one. Perhaps I should make some plans with one and set-in sleeves.

wollmeise grabbag? where do you get those beautyful yarns from? do you order them directly from wollmeise? they always seem unaffordable for me *sigh*

Yeah, I buy them from the Wollmeise site. She has these grab bags occasionally with experimental colours/colours gone a bit wrong or just skeins just don't match her pictures exactly.

I think the price is ok, of course it's more than general sock yarns, but then there's 150 grams in a skein, the yarn makes a beautiful, even knitted fabric and there's enough yardage for two pairs of socks in a skein! (At least one adult and one child pair..)

But well, the colours are just so perfect, exactly what I've always wished from yarn.

Everything on the wollmeisse site is sold out. I don't understant how everyone get this yarn.
