Bracelet with my handspun

Bracelet with my handspun

Wow, it's been a while since updating! I don't know, I should probably come up with a solution where I could put as much effort into blogging as I put into Ravelry these days. But it is addicting!

I haven't been able to get that much done, result-wise lately. Too much going on and I've done a lot of knitting on deadlines, with such a hurry that I didn't even have time to snap pictures of the items.

But here's a little something. I made it the wool I showed in the last post. I spun it into a 2-ply, somewhere between lace and fingering weight and still a little too uneven (but I am advancing!). Both the colours and the recipient of this remind me of grey skies, storms, rain and water and so I looked for a wavy lace pattern to use here, too. I also added some beads to accentuate the waves and add some sparkle.

I love this a lot myself, I was a little sad to send it away. But I do have some of the yarns still left and it'd be enough for another bracelet.
